Moving the New -Second Look Artistic development programmePresentations of the works in progress by the artists in residence.   Besides all the cultural, social, political or sexual differences and conflicts, we are all from the very beginning of our existence connected simply with rhythm.  Milena begun this research for her master’s degree in choreography in the Netherlands. Until today, more than 30 professional dancers and 50 dance students from Cyprus and abroad have participated in it. The first part of this research was presented in 2018 at Codarts Academie in Holland and at Dance House Lemesos as a part of Moving the New program.  Dancer/choreographer Milena Ugren Koulas graduated from Codarts academy in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She has been collaborating with musician George Koulas for the last 12 years. They presented their work in Cyprus and countries abroad like Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Greece, Sweden, Germany, France, Serbia, Spain, Luxembourg, The Netherlands. Their piece “Manlike” was selected as one of the Aerowaves priority works for 2015.
