“Walking LovINK: Carried by Many” is the latest form of Eleftheria’s one-with-one walks, part of her three-year-long—and still unfolding—research into love as a practice. These walks, now guided not only by Eleftheria but also by six other facilitators, embody a shared responsibility for creating spaces of care. In this context, love is understood as a set of actions that resist and challenge the abuse of power and the suppression of human or more- than human bodies.
Reflecting the idea of love as a continuous journey toward a “not-yet” place, each walk concludes with the creation of a mini personal love manifesto. This manifesto defies the idea of a singular, monolithic, static narrative; instead, it becomes part of an interwoven text that embodies the notion of constant becoming.
For its presentation at the Open House Festival, the project embraces this collective approach, with all facilitators attuned to the process through Eleftheria’s guidance, following the research’s care and access guidelines to provide a safer space for participants.
