⚠️ The sound meditation is participatory but does not require musical training. Participation can also take the form of simply listening.
Amid soft silences and vaporous soundscapes, sheltered by darkness, a voice calls on you to breathe, listen deeply, and slowly join your voice with those around you. Sonic Offering is a ritual for collective rest, featuring an ambient composition incorporating instructions for releasing, contemplating, and sounding together. Drawing on the work and philosophy of composer Pauline Oliveros (1932–2016), as well as magical practices, the performative meditation carries on androula’s ongoing explorations of the healing and ecstatic potential of sound and shared sound-making.
