NETWORKS
Dance House Lemesos cultivates international partnerships. It is a member and partner in three of the most important networks in the field of dance and performing arts: the Εuropean Dance Development Network, the Aerowaves Network and the I.E.T.M International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts.
European Dance Development Network
European Dance Development Network – EDN, established as a legal association of dancehouses in 2009, is a network of dance development organisations based in Europe. In 2025, EDN counts 54 member organisations in 28 European countries, working towards a sustainable, progressive and equitable dance sector. As an EU network for dance, EDN advocates for better working conditions in contemporary dance, raises awareness about the relevance of dance for societies.
Aerowaves Network
Aerowaves is a hub for dance discovery in Europe. It identifies the most promising new dance work by emerging dance artists and then promotes it through cross- border performances. Aerowaves relies on its network of partners from 34 countries across Europe. They represent and provide insights about their local and national dance scenes and the emerging talent there.
IETM
The International network for contemporary performing arts is one of the oldest and largest international cultural networks, representing the voice of over 500 performing arts organisations and individual professionals working in the contemporary performing arts worldwide. IETM was founded in 1981 during the Festival of Polverigi in Italy. It created a mission to advocate the value of the arts and culture and empower performing arts professionals through access to international connections, knowledge and a dynamic forum for exchange. They work to stimulate the quality, development and context of the contemporary performing arts, in all their diversity.
