Dance House Lemesos, as part of its Moving The New emerging artists development programme, invites you to participate in Lighting Otherwise, a lighting workshop led by lighting designer Vasilis Petinaris.
Through a combination of theory, hands-on practice, and experimentation, this workshop introduces different approaches and methodologies to lighting design. Participants will explore theatrical lighting alongside alternative light sources, investigating how light can shape space, atmosphere, narrative, and new performative relationships.
The workshop will also include an introduction to the possibilities of 3D visualization as a tool for testing, designing, and developing lighting ideas throughout the creative process.
