Dance House Lemesos announces the Moving The New residency program with two open calls:

 

Moving The New: Project Development Residency / April – October

This program is for professional artists and artistic groups who want to review or enhance an existing choreographic work that has been presented at least once (as a work in progress or completed piece). The residency aims at the development and / or transformation of the proposed work and its presentation.

 

Moving The New: Artistic Research Residency / April – July

This program is for professional artists involved in research rather than production. The residency provides time and space for in-depth exploration of artistic practices, themes, and methodologies, irrespective of the final artistic outcome.

 

For whom the program is:

The open calls are for professional artists based in Cyprus, working in the (expanded) field of choreography and performance exploring the concepts of the body and dance through various artistic means. The program is also open to artists who previously participated in the program.
