Weekly improvisation workshops for professional and non-professional dancers.
Focussing, amongst other, on the following improvisational tasks:
Exploration of the limits of movement patterns and vocabulary, the impact of physical contact the relationship between emotions, sensations and the way of moving reinforcing individuality spatial awareness identifying with the powerful aspect of performing oneself.
To keep fit and … play!
The course will begin with awakening the body which is the central tool.
Movement will be analysed through: space- time, weight-flow, and through action (movement-reason) and the relationships which result from it.
Focusing on the embodiment of symbols and meanings, we will then explore the establishment of relations between us, between person and object, between performer and spectator.
We will further play with the coexistence of opposites, with alternating dynamics and emotions through the execution of movement.
